A large scale pearlware glazed figure of a cow standing on a green base with a profusion of flowers and grasses.This imposing bovine is well modelled and decorated and is the work of the Wood and Caldwell Pottery who were based in Burslem Staffordshire. The tree trunk apart from its decorative nature could also be used for holding spill tapers.

Dimensions: 10 inches high, 12.5 inches wide, 5.5 inches long

Current Condition: Restored at horns.
