A fine pottery pearlware tea canister caddy with images in strong relief of Cupid and a classical figure "offering" to the flame at an alter. The caddy has unusual decoration on the sides in the Japan style later copied on Gaudy Welsh pieces, with a highly decorative green, yellow and blue stripe decoration at the collar. Antique period early 19th century with many aspects suggesting a Swansea or Glamorgan Pottery attribution.

Dimensions: 5.25 inches high, 3.5 inches wide, 1.75 inches long

Current Condition: Unrestored with minor historical wear associated with age.
