Antique pottery jelly core inner mold in creamware from the workshops of Josiah Wedgwood Staffordshire England. Hand-painted flower decoration expertly rendered. The mold would originally have an outer utility cover in plain earthenware. The jelly would set on the inner core and be brought to the dining table to be served from. This piece is impressed WEDGWOOD and features an intriguing piercing in the center of the bow retaining a wooden dowel.
