Antique English Staffordshire pottery figure of The Vicar and Moses from the Ralph Wood Pottery late 18th century. Ralph Wood was one of ,if not the best figure modeler in the late 18th century in the Staffordshire "Potteries" and England. This rather comical piece was one of the most popular figures from the Ralph Wood workshops. The figure is exceptionally well modelled and decorated with colored glazes which are distinctive of Ralph Woods work.
