A fine Prattware pottery sponge decorated figure of a horse standing on an oblong base and made in circa 1800 period , probably North England. The figure is finely modeled and decorated in blue and ochre, the tail is neatly applied swinging onto the hind leg. The simple and slightly stiff rendition accentuates the folk appeal of the figure.

Dimensions: 5.5 inches high, 5 inches wide, 2 inches long

Current Condition: The figure is in very good condition. No restoration.

Provenance: Private Collection Stow on the Wold,Cotswolds England
