The appealing pottery deep-sided cradle shows a wide-awake baby under a check decorated coverlet. The relief modeling is well executed and decorated with vibrant Prattware colors of the highest quality. The representation of the baby indicates a Yorkshire Pottery maker. Cradles were often gifts to newly married couples and Christenings.

Dimensions: 4 inches high 5 inches long

Current Condition: No restoration with some minor fritting and glaze loss all commensurate with age.

Provenance: Retains paper labels from Christie's and the Behar Collection. Then from a Private Collection England
