Antique late 18th century creamware pottery tureen and cover in the form of a melon and vine leaf. The cover is decorated with tendrils and stems whilst the tureen base is modelled in one with a melon leaf. Similar examples of these creamware pieces were made at several factories including the Leeds Pottery and at other potteries in England mainly in the Staffordshire and Derbyshire area.
