The pottery watch stand made at the Sewell works Newcastle upon Tyne England in the early 19th century is classically formed and features two Corinthian columns and a lion in repose. The pink splash luster and flower and leaf decoration are of the highest quality on this unusually decorated piece.

Dimensions: 8.25 inches high, 2.75 inches wide, 7.5 inches long

Current Condition: Two finials restored with only three minor chips at the back of the watch holder.

Provenance: Retains label from the Powers Collection.
