A rare early 19th century pottery pearlware figure of a cat modeled seated on an oval base with pink luster bands. The cat is very expressive with it black underglaze decoration and well rendered characterful head with black patch. Previously unrecorded with a pinkluster base.

Dimensions: 9 inches high, 6 inches wide, 4.25 inches long

Current Condition: Minor restoration at one ear and at base.
