Antique Yorkshire pottery green glaze jar with cover modelled as a castle. The Castle is the Coninbrough Keep which is located in South Yorkshire. Also with the large version we have a smaller piece which was never made with a lid, it's intended use was probably produced for holding spills. Items listed and offered for sale separately.

Current Condition: Well executed restoration to some turrets.
