Antique English pottery figures of a ewe and lambs early 19th century.

Dated: 1800 Probably Yorkshire England

A rare naive pottery duo of a ewe modeled with a lamb together with another figure of a standing lamb. These figures are sponged underglaze ochre-colored with a pearlware glaze, the bases of both pieces have blue lines decorated around the rim. These two figures, although not a pair, have been made matching, a charming feature, how satisfying to see after 200 years that they are still together.
