Antique English pottery figure of a cow creamer with milk maid. The figure is decorated in the Prattware palette of colors and is modelled standing on an oblong green glaze base with canted corners. The figure of the milk maid toiling at her task is wonderfully worked with a characterful face, this features adds an extra dimension.

Dimensions: 6 inches high

Current Condition: Replaced cover , restored at horns and ears.

Provenance: Private collection of an English Gentleman in the Home Counties.

Literature: John and Griselda Lewis Prattware 1780-1840 page reference 280 illustrates similar figures.
