One of the most impressive ewer and basin sets ever produced. The bowl and ewer are comprehensively decorated with applied springs which are enameled in top quality enamels, the attention to detail throughout the potting is exceptional. The set has some fine touches of pink luster which adds to the strong decorative statement. The ewer in impressed under the base WOOD AND CALDWELL. The set would have been expensive to produce at the time and would have been intended to grace a bedroom in a fine house.
