A rare English delftware pottery blue and white mug decorated in the chinoserie style. Birds and insects amongst flowers and leaves protruding from a rocky outcrop prufusely decorate the tankard. The underside is remarkably and uniquely painted with a figure standing in a basket in a country landscape.

Dimensions: 6.75 inches high

Current Condition: Unrestored feint and tight hairline at base.
