Rare antique royalty related English pottery plaque commemorative of King George's Proclamation in 1820. The transfer print in the centre panel is of high quality with good definition. The best gilded application has been well applied to the plaque as elaborate drapes.(Befitting a King). The reverse of the pottery piece is very interesting with script initials with a very fancy calligraphic flourish. In some ways the reverse of this commemorative piece is equally as interesting as the front.
