Three antique English pottery agateware variagated clay balls late 18th century Sizes 1.75 inches....2 inches and 2.75 inches. These period decorative balls are increasingly rare. It is thought that these balls were made to simulate similar pieces of real agate ware and metamorphic marble balls associated with souvenirs from "The grand Tour", the fashionable pursuit of the wealthy.
