A very fine quality English delftware tea canister produced in London circa 1735 This exceptional caddy is delicately and finely decorated in blue and white with stunning images of a gentleman and his wife in European attire who are individually represented on seperate panels. The other panels are decorated with flowers and leaves in a trailing fashion and with well executed geometric patterns. The canister is in very clean condition with only minor glaze losses at the canted corners.

Current Condition: Fine historical condition with no restoration
