A rare antique English delftware plate probably made in Bristol. The plate is decorated with a figure of a seated male figure in a rural landscape wearing a red cloak , hat and green breeches. The decoration and coloring is exceptionally striking.

Diameter: 8.75 inches

Current Condition: Some glaze loss at rim restored.

Provenance: Old farmhouse in South Wales.
