A very large and unusual sized creamware pottery punch pot and cover from the mid 18th century.With a crab-stock handle and spout, the globular body moulded with fine reeding and cross hatching still retains some of the original gilding. The original cover has corresponding modelling and was left without gilt decoration. A very rare and decorative example of early creamware.

Dimensions: 9.5 inches high

Current Condition: Minor chip at spout restored, professional and invisible.
