A rare and highly decorative globe shaped Chintz patterned creamware teapot. The teapot is decorated with leaves, flowers and cherries within green, mauve and cream stripes. The ogee shaped handle and relief decorated spout are decorated in a deep orange.

Dimensions: 5.75 inches high, 7 inches wide

Current Condition: Tip of spout restored.

Provenance: David Seligman Kensington London 1968 and then Sharow Hall Ripon Yorkshire 2014.
