An English white salt-glazed stoneware Bear Jug with removable cover. The jug naturistically modeled with shredded clay fur know as "grog" enhanced with brown markings; the bear has brown button-shaped eyes and holds a stylized dog with  a scroll-shaped tail between paws. The jug is of an unusual form standing on four legs; most similar bear jugs made in the sitting position.

Dimensions: 10.5 inches high

Current Condition: Professional invisible restoration to a crack at the collar.
