Antique creamware pottery relief molded plaque with the armorial crest of the Seton Family. The plaque still retains Jonathan Horne's label on the back. The Seton's are an important historical family with a seat in Scotland just south of Edinburgh. The Arms of the House of Seton are among the oldest known Arms recorded.
