A rare English pottery creamware teapot in the chintz style from the 1770 decade. The teapot has a double entwined strap handle and is comprehensively and stunningly decorated. The two panels are especially appealing, one a dwelling in a rural landscape and the other strikingly warming with two hearts linked together with the legend "Love Unites Us".
