A rare British pottery pearlware glaze lidded box in the form of as stylish country mansion. The piece is comprehensively decorated with enamels predominantly maroon, green and cobalt blue a palette usually associated with the Scottish Potteries. On first sight the piece looks to be a pastille burner, however there are no vent holes for escaping vapours.

Dimensions: 8 inches high, 8 inches wide

Current Condition: Restored finial at roof and chip at roof and base.
