This delftware pottery plate is polychrome with an image of a rooster standing between sponge decorated manganese colored trees with a flock of birds in flight. The plate is part of a group of wares from the Bristol Delftworks known as The Farmyard Series, and this is one of the best and most striking examples.

Diameter: 9 inches

Current Condition: No restoration and only minor fritting at the edge.
