10This Staffordshire Pottery pearlware glazed enamel decorated figure group was inspired by the W.D Walker print published in 1809 titled PERSUASION. The finely dressed gentleman offers a ring to his sweetheart while sitting on a bench with a dog, hat,  parasol, and an urn with foliage at their feet. The bocage at their backs is the Pine Cone type, which, together with other unique features, provides a Patriot Group attribution. The figure is beautifully decorated and engaging with the expressive representation of the persuasive request.      

Dimensions: 8.25 inches high

Current Condition: Restored, some enamels, leaves and at back of the base.
