A  pearlware glazed and enamel decorated figure of a pig standing against the trunk of a tree on a green base. Pigs were not a fashionable figure to produce in the early 19th century. Hence, the rarity, this piece captures the innate charm and character of the animal. It was made in Portobello, a small town outside Edinburgh, in the early 19th century.

Dimensions: 6 inches high 7 inches long

Current Condition: Restored at ears and rim of tree trunks.
