A handsome commemorative jug with deep relief decoration of three feathers with a crown, the emblem of George Prince of Wales. He was named "Prince Regent" when his father, King George 111, could not rule. His Regency 1811-20 gives name to the period he became King George IV from 1820 to 1830. The jug is of exceptional quality with impressive motifs and emblems and is decoratively striking with its royal blue at the shoulder, rim, and handle.
