Description
A rare early 17th century London white glazed delftware pottery fuddling cup formed by four conjoined vessels linked with intertwined handles. Shards have been located at Rotherhithe and Southwark London—a historical artifact from the reign of King Charles 1 in remarkable condition.

These rare puzzle cups formed entertainment in taverns. The four cups were filled with various alcoholic beverages, which became intermingled. The drinker was then tasked to guess the drink. This early example is in the 17th century and in remarkable condition
