This rare pair of figures of Bacchus and Venus are delightfully modeled standing on square bases and decorated with good quality color enamels. Bacchus holds a bunch of grapes, and Venus a garland of flowers. Made in Staffordshire, England, they are an engaging pair previously unrecorded (The only pair known extant).

Dimensions: 8.75 inches high

Current Condition: Venus some petals restored, Bacchus restored at the neck and the goats horns.
