This significant pottery figure of a standing cow with a seated milk-maid is expressively modeled. She stands on a vitality sponge decorated blue base and is realistically depicted and decorated in magnificent brush-applied manganese. The milk-maid wears a bonnet, an orange scarf, a brown blouse, and a mustard skirt and sits working with a large bucket of brimming and frothing milk at her feet. The colors are underglaze and in the typical Pratt-type palette. A compelling figure which is exceptionally rare and in very good condition.

Dimensions: 7.5 inches high 11.25 inches long

Current Condition: Professionally restored by Royal Warrant holder at horns, break at the tail and at girls neck.
