Dated: 1825 Swansea Wales
The arcaded wicker border plate was made at the Dillwyn & Co Swansea pottery circa 1825. The cavetto is compellingly decorated in pink luster with a monkey seated under a tree and is one of the rarest examples. The reverse bears the horseshoe impress mark of Dillwyn & Co. Swansea.
Diameter: 8 inches
Current Condition: Good condition with only minor signs of historical wear.
