A rare underglaze blue and white transfer printed commemorative dish with a central image in a circular panel of the Scottish poet Robert Burns. The strikingly decorated border features floral emblems of the United Kingdom, roses, thistles, and shamrocks. The dish was made at the Caledonian Pottery Glasgow Scotland, in the early 19th century.

Current Condition: The dish is in very good condition, with only a minor chip on the reverse.
