This Staffordshire pottery pearlware bust version of Tsar Alexander is a rare, imposing example well decorated in enamel colors and expressively modeled. He is wearing a green tunic and a blue sash modeled on a waisted-shaped plinth faux marbelized base. The base shape is also found on the Staffordshire pearlware pottery busts of George Washington.

Dimensions: 11 inches high

Current Condition: The Bust (originally made in two pieces) has been re-attached to the plinth, and some enamels re-touched.
