Description
These exceptionally rare pair of Irish Delftware flower bricks were made at the Dublin Delftworks in the mid-18th century.
The bricks are individually decorated in Chinese-style blue with flowers and leaves and molded with an ogee-shaped skirt at the base.
The underside of the bricks has the painter numbers 0 and 7.
In his book, page 124, Irish Delftware, Peter Francis notes that only two pairs and two singles have been recognized and recorded.
