This handsome brown stoneware pitcher is decorated with good quality images in relief of The Punch Party, a stag hunt in a rural setting with pursuing figures on horseback. There are also two classical Greek female figures entirely out of context to the main sporting theme. The silver domed top hinged cover is hallmarked for 1792/3 which completes the stylish attributes of the piece produced at the Kishere Pottery located in Mortlake London.
