A fine quality English plain creamware pottery melon tureen with original ladle. The base is attached to a leaf-shaped stand, the cover with unique reticulated decoration with twisting vine leaves. The tureen also retains its rare original ladle, which has a relief molded terminal. There is much notable attention to detail in modeling this exceptional piece.

Current Condition: Top of the twisting final restored otherwise in very clean crisp condition.
