The slipware baking dish has a reddish earthenware body with a plain rim. The compelling dark cream-colored lattice squiggle slip decoration is applied over a dark brown slip. The dish is a large and rare significant example of slip decoration from the English potters in the 18th century.

Current Condition: No restoration with some wears to the surface on the back, probably from use in the bakery kitchen.
