The pearlware and enamel-colored pottery figures represent "Simon" and his "Companion." They are modeled standing on square bases. The figure of Simon is based on Giovanni Boccaccio's The Decameron. The figure of Simon is often named Cymon. The female "companion" figure (Ralph Wood 136) is unusually partnered with Simon, and his usual companion is Iphigenia.

Dimensions: 9.5 inches high

Current Condition: Restored some minor touching of rubbed enamels and the break at the neck and wing of the goose.
