Description
A rare pair of Yorkshire pottery Prattware figures of rams with diminutive scaled male and female attendants. The figures are modeled standing on bases with two resting lambs. The male figure is very well attired and sports a peaked cap. A crook is propped up at the leg of the towering ram figure. The Female wears a comb in her hair and holds a basket of flowers; her crook is also propped against the ram. The figures’ costumes are an unusual and delightful feature of this pair.
