This rare pearlware glazed pottery figure of a horse with grey sponge decoration and modeled standing on an oblong base with green sponge splodges was made at the St Anthony's Pottery Newcastle Upon Tyne in the early 19th century. The horse is well modeled and wears a green blanket and a red girth belt.

Dimensions: 6.5 inches high 6.25 inches long

Current Condition: Tips of ears professionally restored.

Provenance: Retains paper label of Jonathan Horne. From a collection located in the Channel Isles.
