This English delftware charger is decorated with an image of King George and inscribed with the initial GR. The elaborate border is decorated with foliate and scroll motifs, diaper panels, and concentric circles. The reverse naively painted in blue, and the number 4 is a feature often found on pieces of this type from the Bristol delft works.
