The English pottery plate has a creamware body and is molded in a silver form with a beaded rim and well decorated in oxide colors with spinach and egg patterns on a dark manganese ground. The reverse of the plate is decorated with a tortoiseshell effect in the classic Whieldon style.

Current Condition: Clean crisp condition with good decorative appeal.

Provenance: Collection of a gentleman in the Home Counties England.
