Description
Antique pottery money bank in the form of a Wesleyan Chapel located in Mexborough Yorkshire. The piece has the name John Downing Thorne (A town near Doncaster) and the date December 23rd, 1845, in capital letters on the front between the two doors. There is a slot in the back of the roof for saving the coins. The building is standing in Mexborough but is sadly no longer a chapel.
