This rare figure of a hound is modeled with the noble-looking canine seated on a classical plinth. It is superbly modeled with classic Ralph Wood color glazes. The figure is marked on the plinth in capitals R WOOD and is described by Frank Partridge in the catalog of his major collection as "unique" ref. Page 40.

Dimensions: 5.75 inches high

Current Condition: Minor chip on the back of the base at the rim.

Provenance: With Alistair Sampson London and then a private English collection.
