This charming Staffordshire pottery pearlware glazed and enamel decorated figure group shows the Dandies in resplendent attire standing on an oblong base. The pair have very expressive and comical features. This group was made without bocage and with fine attention to detail. The base retains a label of the London Pottery dealer the late Jonathan Horne.
Dimensions: 8.5 inches high
Current Condition: Well restored at female's right arm, chip on her hat. Both figures have a crack restored at the neck.
Provenance: With Jonathan Horne Kensington Church Street London and then a private collection in the Channel Isles.
