Staffordshire creamware bodied globular shaped teapot in the Thomas Whieldon manner 18th century

The pottery globular-shaped creamware bodied lead-glazed teapot is decorated in mottled and running oxid colors of brown, ochre, and green in the classic Whieldon style. The spout is relief molded with a leaf and tendril pattern. The pot and cover are remarkably good condition with only minor restoration to the spout tip, a very nice example.

Dimensions: 6 inches high, 10 inches wide

Current Condition: The very tip of the spout is professionally and invisibly restored.
