The pottery figure of a recumbent ewe is from the famous Ralph Wood Pottery located in Staffordshire and made in the c1780 period. The figure is an exceptionally good quality example with defined detail to the modeling and decorated in the classic Ralph Wood colored glazes. One of the best examples of its type.

Dimensions: 5 inches high, 7 inches wide

Current Condition: Unrestored with only minor historical wear

Provenance: From the private collection of Leonard Russell, retains his label.
