A pottery money box in the form of a long case Grandfather clock decorated in good Pratt colors, the modeling well executed. The clock is flanked by a male and female couple. The man wears a top hat, blue coat, and a spotted waistcoat, his right hand amusingly in his trouser pocket. The female figure is dressed flamboyantly with a puff-sleeved shoulder of lamb high-waisted dress with an ochre scarf around her neck with a matching apron. A happy dog sits at the clock's base, a green top and sponged with blue, black, and ochre all around the side, typically associated with the Mexborough Pottery located in Yorkshire.
