The  Toby jug is a rare example with the tartan decoration of the coat and extra attention to details such as the modeling of the back of the chair. The painting is of the best quality produced by the Yorkshire potters, and this Toby Jug is one of the finest produced by them.  The blue sponged decoration at the inside rim of the hat is well-executed, which still retains the rare cover.

Current Condition: Unrestored with some areas of rubbing to the glaze.
